The Charities Division is currently looking for high potential Charities Support Managers to support our Grant Making function.
You will :
assist senior managers or managers to process funding applications by doing research and analysis of the requests;
analyse social / community service needs and identify potential projects in line with the Trust focuses themes;
contribute to the development of strategy and work plans to optimise the beneficial impact of the Trust’s contribution;
monitor progress and expenditure of approved charities projects, to ensure that the projects will achieve their objectives, be carried out within scope and budget and meet the pledged output and deliverables;
build strong network and work closely with NGOs, Government departments, and other stakeholders for particular funding applications and / or projects.
have a Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline;
have at least 8 years’ work experience;
have passion towards tackling social issues, and knowledge and insights on community service needs, particularly with respect to one or several of the following fields : youth development, education, elderly services, medical and healthcare, social welfare, or sports and recreation, will be an advantage;
have excellent written and verbal communication skills (in both English and Chinese) as well as good analytical skills;
be a fast learner and an excellent team player.
Assistant Manager" title would be offered to potential candidates with less experience.
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate.
Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
