What do we expect from you?
In order to support L’ÉCOLE to fulfill its mission to transmit jewelry knowledge and culture to the public, and support our patron Van Cleef & Arpels in high jewelry development, the Gemologist role will anime gemology courses and contribute to the learning and development for the Maison retail teams in Asia Pacific & Australia region.
As a member of L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific, reporting to the Education Manager, the Gemologist is responsible for these two main missions :
TEACHING and SHARING KNOWLEDGE
Deliver gemology courses and programs at L’ÉCOLE campuses and nomadic schools (35 hours / month for all education activities
Contribute as a speaker to our face-to-face and online Conversations in Hong Kong and abroad
Support training of new teachers, as well as participate in new course training
Anime educational programs in APA markets for internal and private parties
Support development of new educational content related to Conversations, exhibitions
Give expert exhibition tours to public and private groups, and train the docents when required
SUPPORT RETAIL LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT AND EVENTS
Collaborate with Regional Training Team to support Retail teams L&D in APA region
Share gemology knowledge with retail teams in formats of onboarding, training and coaching with high jewelry focus
Support Maison events on preparation and on-site client presentation
Work closely with Regional and local HJ Development team to promote growth of knowledge among Sales Associates, with emphasis on High Jewelry SA population
