The Ocean Modelling and Fluids Group under the Department of Ocean Science at HKUST is looking for two Post-doctoral Fellows to work on some of the research topics listed below with possibility of developing their own research agenda subject to mutual agreement :
Applicants should possess a PhD degree in physical / numerate sciences by the time of appointment. The appointees must have a proven track record with scientific computation.
experience with software and packages such as xarray, Dask, pandas, git, singularity / docker, or similar; knowledge of numerical methods (e.
and any other experiences that can contribute to the aforementioned topics. (Duration : 1 year, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
