Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow (PDF) / Senior Research Assistant (SRA) (several posts) in the Division of Health Economics, Policy and Management of the School of Public Health (Ref.
507988), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year temporary basis for PDF and on a two-year fixed-term basis for SRA, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in public health, health services research or other health-related disciplines. Those with a Master’s degree plus at least 1 year’s post-qualification experience may be considered for appointment as SRA.
They should have a demonstrated record of academic research publications; strong quantitative background; and an excellent command of written and spoken English.
They should be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
and experience managing research projects would be highly desirable.
The appointees will participate in an interdisciplinary multi-year research programme modelling the long-term spill-over impact of COVID-19 on non-communicable diseases and population health.
They will plan and coordinate the research project, analyse data, prepare reports and publications, supervise junior research staff, and perform other duties as assigned.
