Our team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types. We are dedicated to collaborate with businesses, other functional units and regulatory bodies to develop and implement robust and customized risk management frameworks and measures to maintain the strong market position of the Bank.

Security Risk protects our customers, staff and the Bank from security risk through deployment of a balanced mix of technology and personnel, provides a safe environment and peace of mind to our customers and staff.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Senior Business Continuity Planning Manager .

Principal responsibilities

  • Serve as Subject Matters Expert for the Contingency Risk with a clear understanding of relevant operational requirements and policy
  • Provide advice and guidance to Businesses / Functions in respect of business continuity plans and arrangements across the Bank in the Asia region
  • Manage the Business Continuity Management process and ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies and guidelines and local regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the effective implementation of the BCM programme within the Bank, provide assurance, oversight and challenge over the risk and control activities conducted by Businesses and Functions
  • Lead Major Incident Management activities across the Bank, facilitate the response to local live incidents
  • Conduct and deliver results from 2LoD reviews, thematic reviews, project manage implementation of new tools, provide regional support for tools to Businesses / Functions
  • Requirements

  • University degree in business or related disciplines
  • Minimum of five years' relevant experience in a BCP / BCM related role in a financial institution
  • Good knowledge of the BCM lifecycle and experience in its practical application
  • Incident management knowledge, detailed understanding and practical experience in respond to major incidents
  • Ability to build relations with local management and positively influence outcomes for Contingency Risk
  • Awareness of local regulations impacting Contingency Risk and an effective and pragmatic response to address the resulting requirement
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing and high pressured environment
  • Good presentation skills and ability to communicate and negotiate with management
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin languages are essential
