Poste et missions

Main Responsibilities :

  • Contribute to the business development of the IEF team in Asia;
  • Maintain and develop client relationships with MNC / sectorial clients and financial sponsors;
  • Source appropriate remunerative transactions within the commercial and credit parameters of the business line;
  • Prepare indicative offers and respond to requests from clients to bid for arranging / advisory / bond mandates;
  • To arrange deals on which we have been mandated, managing a transaction team as appropriate and being responsible for analysis of new transactions and preparation of credit applications (in conjunction with junior members of staff);
  • Lead and execute financial advisory assignments;
  • Develop the O2D model through liaising with syndicate to ensure distribution capability is aligned with origination;
  • Pursue cross-selling opportunities;
  • Liaise with other areas of the bank as appropriate (e.g. hedging, DCM, syndicate, risk, DPM. etc.); and
  • Undertake any specific project or front-office duties, as required.
  • Required Skills :

  • Typically a graduate with at least 10 years relevant experience possessing the following attributes :
  • In depth knowledge of project finance and infra finance structuring;
  • Good knowledge of relevant sectors across transportation, social, environment, power and renewables, natural resources, telecoms / digital infra
  • Business development skills and track record in building transaction pipeline;
  • Good market contacts, having existing client network;
  • Strong sense of strategic direction in pursuing business opportunities;
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation; (Both Chinese and English)
  • Strong credit skills and formal credit training;
  • Cashflow analysis and financial modelling experience;
  • Effective management of the transaction process;
  • Negotiation of project and finance documentation;
  • Ability to manage, coach and guide junior team members;
  • Adaptability and flexibility;
  • Ability to frequently work within strict time constraints;
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment; and
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to guide and motivate junior staff.
