The Team Trading, Liquidity and Lending (TLL) APAC

TLL combines BlackRock’s market-facing transactional capabilities within one integrated business. The group comprises the firm’s Trading, Transition Management, Cash Management, Securities Lending, Capital Markets and Corporate Solutions functions in the region.

TLL plays an integral role in nearly all investment processes and offers BlackRock an ability to maintain holistic views of counterparties and market dynamics.

Within the APAC region, TLL has presence in various offices (e.g. Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Shanghai, Taipei, Gurgaon, and Bangalore) and employs over 90 people.

The Role Key Responsibilities :

  • Reporting to the Head of Business Development and Strategy APAC, provide administrative and business management support to the TLL APAC senior team members
  • Diary management and meeting schedules for the TLL APAC Leaders in Hong Kong
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from the business and regions, and act as contact point for team members
  • Assist with coordination of communications
  • Arranging and monitoring business travel, including travel visa requirements
  • Expense reimbursement and medical claims
  • Arrange workstations and assist in scheduling external / internal meetings for visitors
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials
  • Assist in the organization and reporting of various committees that the team Chair
  • Assist in the onboarding of new team members
  • Assist in organizing team internal and external activities
  • Assist in the management of budgets
  • Knowledge / Experience :

  • Experience in administration, planning, operations or business management
  • Experience in financial services supporting senior management preferred, but not required
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tight deadlines and flexibility to meet workload
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Be self-motivated and follow through on assignments
  • An effective team player, able to work with people of all levels, and partner with other Assistants
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • English required, other regional language skills advantageous (e.g., Cantonese, Mandarin)
