Customer Value Management is vital in maintaining HSBC’s position as a provider of world-class Wealth and Personal Banking solutions, directing business development with a focus on customers.

The team works to ensure the most appropriate pricing, products and promotions are directed to the most relevant customers, concentrating on building value, treating customers fairly and creating a superb customer experience.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Jade Proposition Manager, Customer Propositions and Marketing.

Principal Responsibilities

  • This role will contribute to launching proposition initiatives and implementing business strategies in the Jade segment in alignment with Group directives to achieve the targets
  • Helping to drive the proposition development of HSBC Jade in establishing HSBC as the leading bank for the affluent and HNW segments
  • Assist on the development plan and implement business strategies to achieve portfolio growth in terms of customers number / income, and improve customer experiencefor Jade Clients
  • Focus on the development of WPB / GPB synergy related projects to enhance the Jade proposition with the enhanced advisory model and exclusive products
  • Take part in enhancing the Jade proposition as a Private Banking with Digital & Transactional capabilities to gain market share from USB & CS and become the Market Leader in the US$1-10m segment
  • Drive NNM inflow and I&I penetration via the enhanced proposition by coordinating on the marketing strategy and working closely with RTD
  • Assist to drive collaboration initiatives with other Global Businesses (Private Bank, Commercial Banking, Global Banking & Markets) to maximize customer value to the Bank
  • Execute Global Standard / control initiatives to ensure adherence to guidelines
  • Liaise with key stakeholders including Retail Distribution, Channel, Product teams, Marketing, Compliance and Legal etc.
  • to facilitate development and implementation of initiatives and projects


  • University graduate with business studies related discipline with retail banking / product management experience and top and bottom line responsibilities
  • Possess understanding of integrated accounts, overall banking products and propositions
  • Strong knowledge of the affluent and HNW segments in Hong Kong is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Familiar with sales and distribution framework and keep in pace with the ever-changing market conditions including competitive, digital and Fintech
  • Can work independently and proactively
  • Strong project management skills in developing and implementing initiatives and possess the ability to solve problems promptly and effectively
  • Excellent people management skill
  • Strong numerical ability and analytical skills
