Private Client Manager

Reporting to the Head of Private Clients, the Private Client Manager will be responsible for developing the direct sales channel by engaging with, and selling directly to, (U)HNWIs.

Offering exclusive access to products and experiences of Pernod Ricard. Responsibility includes account servicing, event management and driving luxury corporate sales.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Recruit and nurture existing relationships with VIP consumers, HNWI clients and key influencers / opinion leaders through tactical customer relationship programs and interactions.
  • Drive sales and ensure target achievements
  • Recommend improvements and innovations of this plan to target new (U)HNWIs and explore new partnerships
  • Organize, prepare, and animate various Pernod Ricard consumers activations / tastings to target and grow this community
  • Event management & loyalty program, events logistical support and reporting.
  • Experience :

  • Must have at least 3 years of selling to (U)HNWIs in Luxury markets
  • 4-5 years of proven experience in sales, dealing directly with clients, managing accounts and / or individuals daily, preferably from the financial sector.
  • Good level of education, socially astute with a good understanding and appreciation for local etiquette / codes.
  • Well-connected with existing network(s) in HK high society, with strong ability to connect with (U)HNWIs.
  • Display passion and exceptional knowledge of Fine Wine & Spirits
  • Experience of pitching and securing exceptional sales e.g., cask sales and unique and collectable pieces.
  • Available throughout the working day / week to provide exemplary service in response to client demands, forging a strong relationship and becoming part of the client's network.

  • Strong commercial assertiveness : analytical skills, experience managing sales and pricing strategies
  • Personality : Confident, charismatic, convivial, discreet, and professional
  • Creativity : ability to create compelling written offers, develop money can’t buy experiences, create emotions and desirability through storytelling which goes beyond a technical approach

  • Fluent in English and ideally Mandarin.
