With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.
Play a key role working with a cross functional teams throughout all aspects of the trade (including Open Account Trade) products lifecycle including gathering customer requirements, creating and validating use-cases, verifying product functionality, facilitating sales and deployments and sustaining ongoing customer satisfaction.
Create and execute initiatives to ensure successful commercialization of all products to fully realize DBS' market potential in HK for large corporates and SMEs;
Take full ownership on understanding customer needs and translating them into innovative solutions that exceed expectations and drive superior results for the organization;
Manages products from end to end, including its documentation, marketing and all aspects of the product lifecycle - from conception of the idea, commercialization phase, to ongoing profit and loss management
To manage all day-to-day product issues. Will be involved in problem solving if a product or service is not working the way it is positioned;
To drive / manage the development of new product initiative - translating business requirements into functional specifications, having on-going project meetings with all stakeholders, obtaining product sign off from business unit heads and all other relevant parties as per NPA guidelines;
To collect feedback from customers / relationship managers on product features, market trends and translate them into new product initiatives or business case;
To proactively explore business opportunities by gathering market data and analyzing customers' transaction data;
To keep sales managers / relationship managers abreast of new product launch, product update, promotions, quick tips and success stories sharing;
To develop product training materials, marketing campaigns / collaterals and maintain their relevance;
To conduct product training and support sales managers / relationship managers in sales pitch;
To provide product guidance to internal stakeholders;
To engage internal stakeholders, such as Risk, Technology and Operations partners to strengthen Product offering and enhance technology and processing infrastructures and controls;
To ensure the product offering comply with regulatory requirement and internal guidelines;
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 6 years of relevant working experience;
Proficiency in Trade and Open Account Trade product, risk and controls concepts;
Front-line or project management experience is preferable;
In-depth experience in product lifecycle methodology and profitability;
Able to demonstrate commercial success with existing and new products;
Experience of building and managing effective partnerships across non-traditional boundaries to deliver complex, high-profile and innovative projects to time and budget;
Prior experience in developing and managing project management experience is required;
Experience in working cross-functional team.
