The Institute for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (iTERM) has been recently established to focus on various disciplines including neuromusculoskeletal medicine.
3) 3-Dimensional microphysiological tissue models; and (4) Translational and precision medicine. iTERM is seeking Postdoctoral Fellow(s) to participate in an exciting musculoskeletal research with the goal of characterization and application of bone / tendon extracellular matrix (ECM)-based biomaterials that further our understanding of musculoskeletal biology as well as biomedical devices for musculoskeletal repair.
iii) good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills; and (iv) high self-motivation and a detail-minded work attitude.
Candidates who have substantial experience in musculoskeletal biology and biomaterials are preferred, especially if they possess research background in extracellular matrix biology.
The appointee(s) will be responsible for cell culture experiments, animal experiments, biomaterial fabrication and testing, and lab management.
Training in bone-tendon biology, biomaterial development, and biomaterial testing will be provided to complement skillsets as necessary.
Appointment will be made on contract basis for one year commencing November 2019, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
