In order to reinforce the Human Resources team in Basel we are currently recruiting for an Operations Support Technical Officer (6-month contract) Operations Support Technical Officer keeps the company fleet’s documentation legal and up to date, assists in New AOC setup AOC compliance, external audits and Airspace Approvals and LOA.
Description / Tasks : Documentation ( Document Control Specialist)
HQ Library :
Control Documents, revisions, amendments and services for all company documents, manuals and forms.
Compilations and ensure effective, timely compilation and revision control of Operations Manuals (hard / soft copy format).
Storage of Hard / Soft copy of master manuals, documents and forms in head office library - including relevant AFM, FCOM, QRH and Jeta and T-7 Operational Manuals.
Database Controls :
Update of all Regulatory Approvals i.e. AOC, RNP, CoR, CoA, etc.
Distribution of documents to Flight Crew Airworthiness Approval, MEL, Maintenance Program, AFM, FCOM, QRH and T-7 Operational Manuals.
Proceduresand Policies in Ops Procedure Manual. Document Operational Procedures, Policies and flowcharts in the Ops Procedure Manual relating to Airspace approvals and 3rd party providers.
On-board Library :
Periodically send inventory list of manuals and documents carried on-board to the crew. Ensure Lead Pilot or his delegate updates copies on-board the aircraft and ensure that superseded copies of approval are removed from the aircraft library and forwarded to the relevant departments.

Provide support to office staff on various projects (Assist with editing, proofing, formatting, etc.)
Aviation Technical IT Support
Coordinate with the Flight crew and JBJA JBJS and T-7 to maintain aircraft IT hardware setup.
Assist the APG / Guru (Performance and Mass & Balance) system and manuals
Respond to flight crew queries with references to company / manufacturers websites.
Provide technical support to Flight Operations Management consistent with safe, efficient and legal operations
EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) Administration
Responsible for timely and accurate distribution of electronic information to crews’ EFBs.
Conduct Initial EFB Training for flight crews.
Formulate EFB Policy and Business Continuity Plan (BCP). The latest iOS updates are to be tested for compatibility with Operations critical applications prior to distribution to crews and aircraft.
Manage EFB Operational Suitability Reports for EFB and associated Apps User Guide.
Manage relevant EFB training manuals.
Assist with AOC Audits and monitor AOC compliance.
Assist with new AOC setup.
Under the supervision of DO / Q&S manager, provide answers to internal and third-party auditor queries IS-BAO.
Assist in pre-audit document review for ISBAO Renewal.
Set up and maintain a system for the fleet to prevent findings during SAFA and ramp checks.
Provide project assistance with Flight Operations Department consistent with safe, efficient and legal operations.
Participate in a new aircraft start-up project, coordinating Flight Ops Approvals; LOA, DAA, Ops Specs and aircraft service subscriptions (OEM Manuals, SATCOM, Jeppesen, NAV Database, Performance Programme set-up).
Qualification / Experience :
Preferred Qualified and experienced Technical Librarian and Aviation Information Management
Experienced in aspects of Document Control i.e. manual construction, issue and revisions.
