Lead and grow LexisNexis Legal & Professional new sales (Hunter) and increasing market penetration, visibility and by strengthening relationships amongst designated accounts.
This will require a focus on high-level negotiation, strong presentation and face-to-face selling skills and effective relationship building skills.
Develop new business for corporate sector and to leverage existing and create new relationships for commercials
A key part of this role is pipeline management, financial forecasting, activity tracking and strategic, territory planning
Develop and discuss with the Sales Director, the plans for projected activities in meeting new sales
Effectively communicate the value of LN’s products and services via personal presentations and clearly written proposals
Build a subscription retention strategy by account that maximises renewal opportunity and minimizes risk of cancellations
Develop senior level client relationships with key stakeholders in strategic and designated accounts with the purpose of building long-term profitable relationships
Work closely with colleagues in Marketing and Business Development to develop sales and marketing strategies to promote LN’s product and services
Maintain relationship with channel partners to ensure effective and timely delivery of their commitment of guaranteed new online and print businesses
University Degree with emphasis on business, marketing or related discipline
Minimum 6 years direct sales experience in a professional service, software or SaaS environment
Previous experience in a highly competitive professional services market with proven track record of beating the competition will be highly regarded
Demonstrated ability to present and connect to executive level audiences
Consistent track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Fluent English and Cantonese
