Assistant Manager, Strategy and Communications

Directly reporting to the COO, thisis a multi-faceted role. The Manager will assist in providing support acrossmany areas : from business strategy formulation, financial reporting andplanning, project management to ad-hoc personnel, risk and compliance relatedmatters.

The Manager will handle a wide range of tasks with varyingorganizational importance and will be responsible for the central co-ordinationof all functions and activities in the COO Office.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supportsthe COO in the annual strategic and financial planning cycle for the COO Division
  • Workwith the COO and COO LT to track progress and report on strategic priorities
  • Leadsand manages special projects as assigned
  • Prepareand co-ordinate business reviews, both on a local and Group level
  • Assistthe COO in analyzing and managing correspondence, internal and externalcommunications, reports and the preparation of speeches and presentations.
  • Communication includes advice on maximizing appropriate social media exposure

  • Workwith the COO in the planning and preparation of Leadership meetings and othersas required
  • Providessupport across COO Division on any key topics as they arise
  • Managesregular and timely communications within the COO Division to assist in drivingan engaging and inclusive organizational culture
  • Maintainingand enhancing business connection between COO Division and other AXA HKfunctions and AXA entities
  • Skills and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’sDegree or higher from a reputable university or college
  • Minimum3 years of work experience in consulting or financial services,
  • High-energyindividual who can handle complex situations to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Capableof interacting with internal and external stakeholders at various levels ofseniority
  • Stronginterpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Teamplayer and good coordinator
  • Fluentin English and Cantonese is essential
  • More experienced candidate will be considered for a Manager position
