The Financial Services Middle & Back Office division at Robert Walters Hong Kong has consistently been one of the highest revenue-

generating divisions within the business over the past 7 years. Headed up by Carol Cheung, the business recruits across all areas of Accounting, Audit, Risk, Operations, and Technology in both the banking as well as the NBFI space.

With established client and candidate relationships, this is an outstanding opportunity for a junior candidate to come into the business as a Researcher and learn about recruitment consulting from one of the most respected operators in the market and also contribute to the business.

The Role

We are currently seeking a Researcher who will assist the team and support the Director of the division in sourcing top quality candidates from the market and help manage those candidates through the recruitment process.

They will also be responsible for managing our proprietary candidate database and ensuring that as a business we keep a regular line of communication with our key candidates.

The ideal candidate will be relatively new to the workforce or a recent graduate who is eager to learn and work hard in a sales environment.

This Researcher will report directly to the Director of the Financial Services & Commerce Finance divisions, Carol Cheung.

Carol joined Robert Walters Hong Kong in 2012 and prior to this had worked for both a boutique and another global recruitment firm.

Carol started her career in Corporate Finance with KPMG where she qualified as a CPA.

This is a fast-paced discipline and we are keen to speak to people who believe that they can thrive in such environments.

This role is well suited to ambitious individuals. The successful hire will be responsible for working with multiple candidates whilst maintaining exceptional levels of service.

  • Ability to deliver against tight deadlines
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Fluent English is required, and Cantonese and Mandarin language skills would also be beneficial
