In this role you will work as technical lead of various operational processes and initiatives of Cybersecurity Data Protection services for monitoring and protecting our hybrid on-prem and cloud environments as well as improve our security posture.

  • We are looking for someone with :

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant post-secondary education preferred
  • MUST HAVE 5+ years of experience in an operational cybersecurity data security role in a cloud native environment with
  • MUST HAVE 3 years in implementing and technology operations of data security, and data loss prevention products and technologies
  • MUST HAVE Experience working in a cybersecurity incident response team on triaging, investigating, and responding to security and / or DLP alerts
  • MUST HAVE Experience with security in and of cloud native environments such as Azure, Google Cloud, and / or AWS
  • Experience leading technical teams and collaborating with other teams in different time zones on data security and DLP initiatives and projects
  • Strong understanding of principles and regulations of data security and data protection in local markets in Asia and North America
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to effectively communicate technical details and thoughts in non-technical / general terminology to various levels of the organization
  • Technical knowledge of policies and rulesets of DLP (Microsoft, Symantec, McAfee, Proofpoint, etc.) and CASB platforms (such as Zscaler, Netskope, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, iBoss, Bitglas, etc.)
  • Experience creating Regular Expressions (regex); automation and scripting with Python or PowerShell
  • A good understanding of application security standards, frameworks, attack methods, and mitigation best practices (e.g.

  • Working level knowledge of Linux and Windows operating environments
  • Experience with metadata management and data tagging, and creating custom data analytics and reports
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, information technology security, or a related field
  • Be a willing and approachable teacher
  • CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, or GIAC Public Cloud Security (GPCS) desirable.
  • On the job you will :

  • Demonstrate mature working experience in data security, DLP technologies, and structured and unstructured repositories monitoring technologies
  • Provide guidance to technical analysts working on identifying, detecting, and remediating data protection and DLP security issues and incidents
  • Lead and guide technical analysts and collaborate with other teams on executing data security and DLP initiatives and projects
  • Be the technical and process SME for enterprise-wide data protection and DLP
  • Provide guidance on configuring, implementing, fine-tuning, and upgrading DLP rulesets, policies and operations
  • On an ongoing basis, stabilize and optimize system performance, automate processes and workflows, including rules and reports
  • Develop technical standards and operating procedures for data protection and DLP
  • Maintain ongoing project management, process improvements, and relationship development to ensure the highest level of customer service
  • Ensure SLAs / SLOs / OLAs related to the incident, change and service request are met.
