The Department

The Hong Kong Racing Museum takes visitors on a journey through more than 150 years of Hong Kong racing history to reveal the story of the city’s most popular spectator sport and its significant contribution to charitable donations and community engagement.

The functions of the Museum include permanent display of a collection of exhibits, holding exhibitions and running museum programmes.

We are now looking for a proactive and self-motivated individual to manage and oversee the daily operations of the venue.

You will :

  • Greet visitors and handle front desk / telephone / email enquires
  • Assist in the running of a souvenir shop, such as sales, transactions and keeping stock inventory, etc.
  • Provide administrative support
  • Provide guided tour service and other museum programmes
  • Sundays and Public Holidays may be part of the rota
  • You should have :

  • Tertiary education
  • Two years of work experience in customer service or retail operations
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Putonghua
  • Proficient in using office desktop tools and applications such as Word, Excel, etc.
  • Working Hours :

    The Hong Kong Racing Museum operates 7 days a week with working hours from 11 : 00 to 20 : 00. Staff are required to work not less than 2 weekdays per week.
