    Essential duties and responsibilities :

    Responsible for designing and implementing a strong and innovative communications framework to support the Global Markets division of the Bank to deliver its strategy to employees across Asia Pacific, with oversight for Awards pitching and social media.

    The manager will direct the communications strategy and execution across 13 markets in which the bank operates across APAC.

    Specific responsibilities include :

  • Designing and implementing proactive communications strategies for employee engagement
  • Disseminating GM’s strategy to employees across diverse markets
  • Designing and implementing a social media strategy to drive employee-led brand advocacy
  • Managing and designing a strategy for Awards pitching
  • Creating innovative and well-written communications that employees want to read
  • Content creation (including video) for external and internal channels, including websites, intranet, social media
  • Work experience requirements :

  • Approx. 5 to 10 years’ experience in the financial services / investment banking industry, with experience in Global Markets highly desirable
  • Keen interest in and understanding of the financial services industry and financial communications, ideally in an international, multicultural environment
  • Experience dealing with senior level stakeholders and a high level of personal resilience
  • A can-do attitude and enthusiastic approach to work and developing stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to proactively seek out opportunities to create content that can be used across internal and external channels (journalism background advantageous)
  • Mature, team player, able to build effective working relationships across all levels of the global organisation
  • Strong emphasis on self-reliance, confidence and commitment to delivering for the team and stakeholders
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Excellent project-management skills
