Systems Support Analyst

  • Provide production support and maintenance services for the Open System SAN environment
  • Liaise and cooperate with vendors on SAN device firmware or microcode management
  • Work with teams from Data Center Managers, System Administrators and Application Owners on Technology Refresh, Data Migration, Server Relocation, Data Center Maintenance or Business Continuity Process validation
  • Support SAN related troubleshooting, performance monitoring and tuning
  • Perform change and problem management in detail and follow company standards
  • Market Skills and Certifications

    Requirements :

  • University Degree or equivalent in Computing related disciplines
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in SAN infrastructure management and support
  • Strong technical skills in HDS VSP, EMC VMAX, Brocade and Cisco SAN Directors and Switches.
  • Knowledge in local and remote data replication and protection technologies (Clone, Snapshot, TC, HUR, SRDF)
  • Hands on experience in multi-tier storage end to end provisioning process
  • Knowledge in SAN fabric design and industrial best practices
  • Knowledge in Windows, UNIX and VMware system administration
  • Demonstrate strong risk management and change control mindset
  • High level of analytical, diagnostic, and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge in technology asset management, ITIL, and Data Center Management
  • Knowledge in Agile / Scrum Methodology
  • Proactive, flexible and embrace team spirit
  • Good technical writing skills and detail oriented
  • Strong level of written and spoken English
  • Able to work on weekend or public holiday
  • Knowledge and experience also in Cloud or NAS technology and support is an advantage (Azure, AWS, HCP, NetApp, Oracle ZFS, Isilon)
