  • Our client is a prestigious and luxurious retail group and market leader within the industry with significant influence across the luxury market;
  • currently looking for a Senior Store Design Manager to primarily emphasis on overseeing and managing the store design & strategy team, ensuring the execution of their retail stores design and innovation.

  • The Person will be responsible for :
  • Guiding & Motivating project team members, consultants and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Creative approach to daily duties is adopted
  • Time efficiency, priorities, quality, consistency, cost control are duly achieved
  • The person will oversee :
  • Quality control throughout the Store Design life cycle
  • Cost analysis management making sure works are competitive, within the market range and ultimately within the overall approved budget.
  • The person will establish and satisfy :
  • Instructions & Briefings by his / her senior team members
  • Local requirements, ongoing local drawing stages & approval as well as monitor the material selection process and suggests / provide alternatives where necessary
  • To demonstrate a good understanding of Architecture, Interior and Design trends of the luxury retail industry in Hong Kong and worldwide.
  • Able to incorporate these ideas into the design process to ensure the group has innovative concepts

  • The person will handle and manage :
  • The entire design life cycle from conceptualization, construction process and workmanship & quality checking, handover and after care maintenance in accordance with the company's strategic business plan and development.
  • The project development from beginning to end, including post analytical studies for future improvements
  • The whole project plan, timelines, milestones and lead the implementation of it; Changes in project scope, identify potential crises and define contingency plan
  • The ideal candidate will satisfy the following :
  • Education :

    University (Interior Design & / or Architectural background)

  • Experience :
  • Luxury, Fashion Retail
  • Luxury, Boutique Hotels & Resorts
  • Real Estate / Architectural firm and Design Studio
  • High End Contractor / Millworker / Supplier
  • Specific competencies :
  • able to work both independently and in team, collaborative spirit is essential
  • able to cope with shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • able to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
  • able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
  • able to foresee circumstances which may threaten the project timetable and budget (personnel problem, rate hikes by suppliers, changes requested by clients, etc)
  • familiar with CAD software
  • Professional experience :
  • Luxury Retail Design (6-10 years)
  • Interior Design and Decoration
  • Architecture
  • Languages skill :
  • English (required)
  • Cantonese (required)
  • Mandarin (required)
  • Required interpersonal and behavioral competencies :
  • Good presentation
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and engaged
