Perform credit analysis on financial institutions based on S&P Global Ratings’ methodology with a focus on Korea
Support senior analysts in preparing management meetings with issuers
Support senior analysts to deliver presentations
Support the production of entity specific reports and market commentaries in a fast paced environment with publication deadlines
Contribute in global and regional analytical projects and working groups
Articulate research findings and analytical recommendations in a logical and coherent manner
Demonstrate service excellence and professionalism towards external and internal clients
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree. Advanced degree, CFA charter holder or CPA is a plus
Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in an analytical or research position
A good understanding of financial markets, business environments and relevant regulations in particular, on the banking sectors or securities companies in Korea.
Knowledge of insurance industry in Korea is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean
Strong numeric skills with solid knowledge in accounting and capability to interpret financial statement
