Performance Results :
Ensure smooth running of daily operation, highlighting any issues to the Operation Manager.
Ensuring mystery shop and KPI standards are adhered to at all times.
Manage all costs related to labour, shrinkage, stock loss ensuring these are maintained to a minimum level
Manage stock rotation and ensure the attraction has the correct amount of stock cover and the retail shop has all merchandise on shop floor and displayed appropriately.
Visual Merchandising, ensuring all areas of the business are strong, commercial, (reflecting what stock is available at the time) and promoting best sellers and high margin lines.
Manage stock holding ensuring within budgets at all times.
Ensuring till errors are kept to a minimum and investigating any discrepancies.
Enforcing loss prevention measure as per company standards.
Maintain minimum stock level on all products and managing re-ordering process to ensure we are never out of stock especially on top sellers.
Plan and Conduct Quarterly Stock Takes, ensuring team members are trained and all preparations completed in advance.
Monitor / Record and minimise wastages.
Manage stock and liaise with suppliers in order to deliver maximum profitability and service standards
Consistently looking at new ways to improve team, department procedures, and sales.
Ensure all quality standards are adhered to and that the retail and photo outlets are maintained within professional standards at all times.
Challenge retail team with sales and staff attitudes to improve the revenue and guest service.
Consistently looking at ways to improve sales and stock control.
Ensuring communication within the management team and retail department is flowing freely at all times.
Manage relationship with suppliers to ensure that all deliveries are completed to the highest standards possible as well as adhering to all Health and safety policies.
Manage the damages and breakages from External Suppliers.
Decision Making :
Review and suggest promotions to ensure commercial targets are achieved.
Review the range alongside buying team and central support team ensuring the merchandise reflects attraction brand orientation.
Ensure company brand guidelines are maintained for any signage & advertising tools used in commercial areas.
Reviewing P&L statements to maximise profit.
Manage all procedures, team and department to achieve the agreed commercial targets in terms of SPH, revenue and EBITDA.
Knowledge & Skills
Full understanding and analysis of commercial reports to increase commercial SPH..
Good knowledge of retail sales systems
Basic level of health and hygiene to ensure all Health and hygiene; Health and Safety and COSHH (or local equivalent) regulations are observed, records maintained and all staff trained.
