The D. E. Shaw group seeks a talented relationship manager to join its Investor Relations team in Hong Kong with a particular focus on developing and managing relationships with Japanese institutional investors.
This position allows the opportunity to gain investor relations and marketing expertise, contribute to an innovative team, and be involved in strategic and operational marketing decisions.

What you’ll do day-to-day
The relationship manager will work closely with senior members of Investor Relations on investor-facing activities and will have substantial contact with current and prospective investors as well as internal areas of the firm, including trading, financial operations, and legal.
This individual will be expected to split their time about equally between Hong Kong and Japan. Responsibilities will include communicating with investors, contributing to product and collateral development, informing the firm’s long-term capital raising strategy in Japan, and working on a variety of special projects.
Over time, the relationship manager will be expected to assume additional marketing and fundraising responsibilities with the potential to expand their function into other Asian markets.
