The function

Assistant Security Manager is the Second In-charge of Security Teams chargeable for the each day overall performance of the Soho House Hong Kong Security Teams and the clean operation of the Security Control Room.

This persion is expected to :

  • Manage and Maintain Soho House security preferred to protect life and property for all the events happening in Soho House Hong Kong;
  • Any other duties directed via the Security Manager;
  • Understand, affirm and verify protection and safety necessities with the safety supervisor and comprise them into the each day operations plan with right headcounts;
  • Ensure a timely replace and of completion of security & protection report;
  • Under the broad’s steering lead the Security Team, to ensure its performance in safety & protection operations and execution of operations plan up to the Soho House Hong Kong Standard and in-line with the set key overall performance indicator;
  • Coordinate with inner and external stakeholders in the planning and execution of daily operations plans to make sure KPIs are being met;
  • Responsible for leading / advising planning manager to formulate and put together Event Operations Plans for every occasion holds inside the venue of Soho House Hong Kong;
  • Review briefing fabric and operations guidance for emergency operations to ensure they are clear and direct in addition to ensure briefings are added in high exceptional and effective manner;
  • Responsible for excellent control and Inspection on safety personnel is up to standard and meet the agreed Key Performance Indicators;
  • Responsible for inner training for every position and process responsibilities for Security Team;
  • Implement fashionable operating procedures applicable to the Security Team for every function and activity duty;
  • Manage and support inner stakeholders event, facilities, protection and safety-associated operations;
  • Ensure house guidelines are accomplished at Soho House Hong Kong and up to date;
  • What we look for

  • Tertiary training or above, incredible in both spoken and written Chinese and English;
  • Self-motivation with a expert appearance and customer-orientated attitude

  • Minimum eight years of event protection control enjoy in a sizable organisation or hospitality enterprise of which at the least 3 years at a managerial level, enjoy in hotel, property management or disciplined forces could be an advantage;
  • Ability to assist within the improvement and justify event operations plans and safety and safety control plan;
  • Ability to analyse and present facts and guidelines with sound judgments;
  • Attentive to details, systematic thinking; sturdy analytical and problem-fixing skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills; capable of work with humans at all stage with professionalism and respect, with emphasis on client-targeted service;
  • Extensive experience operating in a group-orientated, collaborative environment; open-minded, adaptable, proactive and be a team player;
  • Knowledge in local regulatory and legal requirements can be an advantage;
