APAC Digital Lead - Top Tier Asset Manager Duties
Conduct digital landscape research and opportunities analysis to explore, develop and assess priorities.
Help create business case of new digital propositions to submit for global or APAC funding approval (including estimation of implementation cost, projection of business benefits, development roadmap, project planning, risk and mitigation)
Lead and project manage end to end execution / implementation of agreed and assigned digital propositions / digital-related business initiatives.
This includes leading business requirements discovery, solution design, feature development, user acceptance testing, internal cross-functional team review and client rollout
Assist to build a network of external relationships with financial intermediaries, fintechs, technology vendors, consultants and advisors, where applicable.
Create digital knowledge database and share with internal stakeholders (including but not limited to APAC Distribution) on above said external intelligence as well as internal digital initiatives as appropriate
Drive / assist development, rollout and maintenance of digital tools AI Chatbot), scrutinize for commercial viability
Track business metrics, digital KPIs and driving digital client adoption of live digital propositions or tools
Help with digital distribution budget management (including budget request consolidation, budget allocation / breakdown and post-drawdown monitoring)
At least 7 years of experience in digital product management, end to end digital delivery, sales or consulting equivalent on digital propositions
Driven, client-oriented with strong commercial business acumen
Excellent relationship management and diverse stakeholder engagement skills
Deep understanding of the digital landscape, markets, and trends
Strong understanding of digital strategy and technical concepts (such as APIs, cloud technologies and deployment approach)
Must be familiar with Agile methodologies (such as Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework - SAFe) and design thinking to be able to drive digital engagements and delivery with Schroders Global Technology
Comfortable facilitating and communicating using both business and technology terms
Language fluency in Mandarin is required as this role will need to work very closely with China stakeholders
