Main Purposes Of the Job :

A key member of the AXA Distributionteam in Asia, the role will be responsible for formulating and generating buy in to region-

widedistribution technology blueprints and standards, across the Life and Non-Life Insuranceentities, in support of AXA’s distribution strategy in the region.

A key member of the AXADistribution team in Asia, the role will be responsible forworking closely with the countries in formulating andgenerating distribution technology blueprints and standards, across the Lifeand Non-

Life Insurance entities, in support of AXA’s distribution strategy inthe region.

An experienced lead with strong domain expertise inthe sales technology sector; the incumbent will work closely with the CIO’s,CDO’sand members of the AXA AMO managementteam, entities and vendors in order to define, recommend and support theimplementation of distribution technology strategies in proprietary andnon-proprietary channels

  • Strategy Direction Work with the AsianMarkets, Shared Services and entity leadership teams to formulate a Distribution Technology Blueprint taking into accountAXA’s IT standards, market practice, industry trends and regulatoryenvironment.
  • Planning Direction - IinitiateDistribution Technology Transformation Roadmaps (DTTR’s) with respective entityteams to ensure that the regional strategic direction and timelines are builtinto local IT plans and that regional support and cross-
  • entity opportunitiesare identified.

  • Distribution Technology Excellence Build a regional distribution technology community & support bestpractice sharing across all entities;
  • Leverage AXAs global expertise as well as third party vendors to accelerate thedelivery of DTTR’s driving convergence towards the Distribution Technology Blueprint

  • Domain Expertise Bring a strong understanding of the distributiontechnology ecosystem covering all aspects of the business including customersegmentation, data analytics, needs analysis, sales journey, marketing,underwriting and customer on-boarding.
  • Commercial Orientation & Business Focus-Bring strong financial management skills includingthe ability to develop business plans and analyse profit drivers.
  • Highachievement orientation with an ability to manage distribution performance on all key Financial andBusiness Metrics.

  • Team Management - Building and leading a high caliber Virtual Distribution Technology Team. Mentor, Coach, and Empower the in countryresources.
  • Focus on upgradingtalent, and talent development across all levels both within the local entities. Support and encourage abias for action across all levels of the organization.

  • Digital Innovation : Ability to use Digital as a key differentiator for creating new business model, reducing costs,enhancing sales experience and driving distribution transformation.
  • Facilitate disruptive thinking and testing of innovationacross all facets of the distribution technology spectrum, working with bothinternal and external vendors.

    Qualifications

  • Solid Experience : 10+ yearsof insurance experience with min. 8-10 years at a senior sales management levelaround Distribution, Technology and ortraining.
  • Strategic DistributionTechnology Leader with a broad vision and ability to formulate, drive and execute region-wide distribution technology strategies, initiativesand standards, across the AMO Life & General Insurance business entities.
  • Domain expert with an in-depth experience in distribution technology. Strong track record of successfully scoping,developing & implementing technology within the area of distribution inAsia.
  • Excellent understanding ofthe technology, distribution channels and market evolution. Well versed and can execute experiencejourneys in a DevOps model.

  • Experience in successfully driving technologytransformation ; proven team player with a track record of success in developingtools and processes that transform the distribution channel with skills also inimplementing change programmes and stakeholder management.
  • Strong InfluencingSkills - should be able tobuild credibility, partner with, and influence Entity CEOs / CDOs and CIO’s todevelop and support execution of the Distribution Technology TransformationRoadmap.
  • Should be seen as a credible technology / distribution evangelist whocan add value to the entities. This is a role without any direct authority, andtherefore this attribute is extremely important

  • However we can selectively cover professionals without Asia experiencewho demonstrate high adaptability and agility.
