My client is one of the leading banks globally, looking for a leader who has strong capability to manage different stakeholders on technical and non-technical aspects.
The candidate must have the solid understanding of hedge accounting and treasury, able to adapt to the changes and manage different senior stakeholders.
Direct Big 4 candidates from Financial Services Consulting / Advisory teams are welcome but needed to be skillful at managing clients' tasks and able to translate the accounting activities.
What you will do :
Lead the regional team and provide guidance on different discussed topics across the units and be accountable for implementing a globally consistent set of processes and control
Report to global head and discuss the future proof hedging framework
Partner with the different business units closely, including but not limited to treasury team to facilitate a sustainable and efficient risk management framework
Coordinate the necessary actions to implement hedging models compliant with the internal modelling requirements applicable to PC hedging activities in Asia regions
Work with the global team to integrate the recommended changes and processes needed to deliver a globally consistent and compliant hedging framework
Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of assurance, internal and external audit points
What you need to have :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economic
Solid knowledge of accounting principles applicable to hedge accounting and good understanding of financial markets
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Prior experience in product control will be a plus
Prior experience in managing a team is a MUST
Excellent / Fluent / Native in English
Minimum 10 years' relevant work experience in financial services industry
