WeLab is looking for a Associate / Senior Associate, Technology Procurement & Budget Control to join the team!
What you will be doing
Prepare and review contracts
Establish procurement procedures and prepare operational manuals
Provide guidelines and assistance to users on vendor selection of products, services and solutions
Negotiate with vendors in the best interest of the Bank
Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
Maintain good record of contract database / records
Prepare regular reports on expense, maintain and track department budget
Review business case, consolidate and analyze program / project information to support effective decision making

You have a strong thirst for knowledge and are driven to find solutions that don't exist yet

What is required and what we’re looking for
Degree or above in Science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology or Business Administration
At least 3-5 years of professional experience in Information Technology, PMO, project management or business analysis
Proven purchasing experience, knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, preferably within an IT environment
Talent in negotiations and networking
Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers, including Excels & PowerPoints
Experience in collecting and analyzing data
Experience with waterfall and agile program / project management and delivery
Able to work independently with stakeholders
Team player, multi-tasking skills with can-do attitude
Fluent in English and Cantonese with excellent written and verbal communication skills
PMP, ITIL knowledge, membership of The Institute of Purchasing & Supply of Hong Kong (IPSHK) is an advantage
