Description

Our Digital Governance, Risk, and Compliance services, will provide you with the opportunity to assist clients in developing risk analytics and technology solutions that help them optimise efficiency through the strategic application of technology.

As an Associate / Senior Associate, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

    Preferred Knowledge / Skills

    Demonstrates proven thorough knowledge and success with consulting, designing, implementing and contributing as a functional team member on Digital Redesign consulting engagements, including :

  • Leveraging Business Process knowledge to assist clients in the implementation and support of risk / compliance packaged solutions, and improving business processes;
  • Understanding the common issues facing clients who provide products and services within one or more of the following sectors : banking, insurance, and / or investment management, aerospace and defense, automotive, healthcare, consumer and retail, energy, industrial products, technology or utilities; and,
  • Assisting our clients in assessing their ERM and IA technology needs recommending areas for improvement and optimisation, and supporting implementation;
  • Conducting different types of consulting assignments such as enterprise risk management, Internal Audit and controls reviews and other risk and controls related projects;
  • Supporting client on implementing Data Analytics to drive the ERM and IA functions
  • Supervising, coaching and developing individual team members in your assignments.
  • Demonstrates proven thorough abilities and success with identifying and addressing client needs : actively participating in client discussions and meetings;
  • communicating a broad range of Firm services; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents; and, balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.

  • Demonstrates proven thorough abilities and success as a team leader : creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members;
  • providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner; and, keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.

  • Participating on proposal development and market development efforts.
  • Requirements :

  • University degree majoring in accounting, business administration, finance, information systems, business design, economics;
  • Experienced with major GRC product design / implementation and / or controls assurance experience with reputable international professional / consulting firm or multi-national, corporations;
  • Candidate with less years of experience will be considered for Senior Associate or Associate positions), preferred;
  • 1 2 years of experience for project management, system requirement study, design and implementation experience for GRC and controls solutions, preferred;
  • Strong / fluency in risk and information technology concepts in the areas of system development, change management, computer operations and access to programs and data;
  • ability to identify and assess business requirement and linkage to IT systems;
  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English and Chinese;
  • Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity;
  • Effective project management, interpersonal and influencing skills are essential;
  • Flexibility to travel to out-of-town engagements;
  • Professional qualifications : CIA, CISA, CPA, Key GRC product certificates, PMP, Agile, Scrum, etc. will be a plus.
  • As a Manager / Senior Manager, you will work as part of a team helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

    PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to :

  • Leading teams delivering the roll out, update or review risk management and internal audit technology at our clients
  • Taking a lead role internally in driving the technology focused approach for our risk management and IA teams, including driving training opportunities, presenting at various internal forums, and overseeing the uplift in the teams technology capability
  • Act as the lead account Senior Manager for our top internal audit and enterprise risk management clients, and lead the delivery of internal audit and enterprise risk management engagements
  • Drive opportunities in the enterprise risk management and internal audit technology and data analytics space
  • Working with cross region teams to deliver technology solutions that are fit for purpose for our clients
  • Liaising with other line of services to deliver a one firm solution to our client and support other PwC teams as a risk management and internal audit technology SME.
  • Executing and delivering the results of internal audit engagements for our client portfolio within financial services;
  • Assisting our clients in assessing their ERM and IA technology needs recommending areas for improvement and optimisation, and supporting implementation;
  • Conducting different types of consulting assignments such as enterprise risk management, Internal Audit and controls reviews and other risk and controls related projects;
  • Supporting client on implementing Data Analytics to drive the ERM and IA functions
  • Supervising, coaching and developing individual team members in your assignments.
  • The candidate should have :

  • Bachelor degree in related disciplines (Accounting / Finance / Business Administrations / Computer Science etc.)
  • Understanding in business process, business needs and requirements
  • Preferred knowledge in IT Audit, technology risk, compliance, technology / system, control related experience
  • Preferred Qualifications in CIA, CISA, CPA
  • Acquires and applies commercial expertise by staying up to date in industry and with market trends, in particular around the emerging areas
  • Relevant experience in Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance and Audit with a reputable international accounting firm or multi-national corporation;
  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English and preferably also in Chinese
  • Education
