How you’ll make an impact This is a key role in our sales team at Xero. You will be the first point of call and key point of contact for new partners signing up to become part of the Xero Partner Program.

You will work closely with Sales Operations to ensure that we are efficiently onboarding high-quality partners so that Account Managers are able to then prioritise and manage sales opportunities.

Success looks like Successfully recruiting and qualifying new partners to the Xero Partner Program and ensuring a high level of onboarding support.

Supporting Xero sales staff by ensuring that data quality is obtained so that sales opportunities can be quickly identified and customer satisfaction is increased.

What you’ll do

  • Full spectrum sales development work - mainly generating outbound leads for our partner channel
  • First point of call and key point of contact for new partners signing up to become part of
  • Uncover business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline through outbound activities (e.g. cold-calling)
  • Research and qualify new partner leads
  • Nurture new partners, provide a #beautiful onboarding experience
  • Evangelise and educate prospects and partners on the merits of using Xero
  • Support #team in activities for partners such as Partner Forums, webinars, training opportunities and other Xero sales led events
  • Update and maintain CRM system for all partner communication
  • What you’ll bring with you

  • Passion for cloud technology and helping small businesses grow
  • Ability to build rapport and create connections remotely
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Professional level language skills in English and Cantonese
  • Ideally 2 to 3 years experience in a partner / enterprise channel sales role handling new business development
  • ownership and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment

  • Knowledge of the workings of an accounting practice, hands-on experience in using Salesforce, familiarity with Hong Kong's accounting and corporate service industry, are good to have skills / knowledge
