Job Mission :
This role is to develop a holistic vision of training / learning in the Fashion Division for the retail community and to build future capabilities, with a focus on transmission of the brand purpose and Chanel culture;
engage and inspire our retail team to create the ultimate client experience and develop retail careers in the House. The vision and realization of the vision need to be aligned to business, brand and people ambitions and serve the Chanel difference, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
Future Capabilities Identification and Learning Needs Prioritization
Learning Business Partner to Fashion Division Lead.
Identifies future capabilities required in the Fashion Division to support the evolution and speed of business.
Works with stakeholders (Regional and Local) to understand the motivations and profiles of the Retail Teams (Deputy / Head of Boutiques, Specialists and Fashion Advisors) so as to be able to recommend the types of training, priorities and the methods of delivery to support business objectives and client needs.
Takes a holistic view of all learning needs in Fashion Division and synergy of WFJ and FBP. Involves business leaders and key stakeholders in the Asia Pacific and Global teams in the prioritization process.
Involves key stakeholders in the design and deployment of learning solutions.
Provides feedback to key stakeholders (including Global teams) on materials / content / learning methods.
Contributes to the development of learning strategy for Asia Pacific.
Upholds High Standards for All Learning Activities in the Division
Contributes to the development of learning quality systems in the Asia Pacific region.
Ensures local team is well-verse with standards in the learning quality system.
Provides thought leadership / feedback / best practice to the Asia Pacific learning community on innovative and high quality learning practices.
Equips local markets to apply learning standards according to local needs, for example Train-the-Trainer for new trainers.
Team Leadership Role in Fashion Division and Talent and Learning Studio
Inspires learning innovation in the learning community in Asia Pacific.
Trains and coaches the Local Market Learning Community to raise overall learning capability in the region.
Ensures key members of the Local Market Learning Community has an individual development plan on an annual basis.
Leads and animates the Learning Community in Asia Pacific and contributes to the learning priorities in the region.
Change Management / Shaping the Culture
Ensures learning priorities ultimately result in shaping the desired culture for the Brand, Business and People.
Leverages the organization and key stakeholders to achieve the desired culture.
Brings in new ideas / learning methods / learning innovation to the region to accelerate culture shifts in Chanel.
Evaluation Training / Learning Efforts
Identifies KPIs for training / learning and review on a regular basis through internal and external benchmarking.
Sets up dashboard for measurements.
Role Specifications :
Strong understanding of the Brand and Business, with passion for Fashion.
Strong interest in people development and understanding of adult learning principles.
Strong understanding in retail needs and customer service.
Well versed with external trends in training / learning / customer service / digital and experienced / comfortable in employing innovative methods on learning to achieve business objectives.
Able to work collaboratively with diverse teams at all levels of the organization : skilled to give and receive feedback with good understanding of the subtleties and specificities across markets.
Strong facilitation and stand up training skills.

Academic / Professional Qualifications :
Bachelor / Post graduate qualification of psychology / business / Human Resource / Marketing
Work Experience :
More than 8 years of combined work experience in retail, training and / or learning and development / Human Resource Business partner functions.
Business / Retail leadership role is an advantage
