We're looking to expand our sales leadership in the APAC Region as we move to the next phase of our growth evolution.

The team comprises of End User Touch and Channel Sales combined with a Pre-Sales Engineering . The region has been growing for the last number of years and we require a Senior Leader to develop and drive the sales strategy to accelerate this growth and bring scale and leadership to the team.

We are looking for an individual that brings a combination of skills in developing and executing sales strategies that cover market segments from SMB to Mid Enterprise end user customers.

You will bring experience in doing business, not only in a traditional perpetual license model but also has experience of SaaS solutions and monthly billing models.

The role is based in Hong Kong, you will have strong, proven leadership capabilities that demonstrate your ability to lead and motivate a team to exceed targets.

You will report to the VP Sales, APAC and be a member of the APAC Sales Leadership Team.

What you will be working on

  • Act as a strong sales leader for Barracuda Networks in North Asia to maximize revenue opportunities across the region and develop the region’s channel business.
  • Drive, meet and exceed monthly and quarterly balanced business results while building a long-term sustainable business to deliver revenue and market share growth, while balancing short- and medium-term objectives.
  • Generate new ideas and innovative approaches to accelerate the development of the business in the Region.
  • Implement corporate and APAC strategies and objectives, adapting and building execution plans for the region.
  • Ensure the region develops and maintains strong sales pipeline growth across all product and market segments.
  • Drive operational excellence across North Asia.
  • Manage Talent : Recruit, hire, develop, retain top talent and build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Establish strong relationships with key partners in the region, including channel partners and ISV partners.
  • Work closely with marketing to develop programs and activities across the region to drive channel development and lead generation programs.
  • Play a hands-on role with key relationships in both our partner and end-user eco-system.
  • Remain current on medium- and long-term security marketplace trends.
  • Monitor competitor activity and anticipates market changes.
  • Manage forecasting activities, preparing internal reports for management, month-end bookings, develop understanding and strategies to minimise churn, setting strategy and tactical approaches for maximizing new business sales and renewals retention rates across the APAC Region.
  • What you will bring to the role :

  • A solid understanding and experience of the cybersecurity markets, with experience selling SaaS solutions.
  • Deep Experience in managing a business of both End User Touch end user sales combined with a strong channel sales background.
  • Demonstrable sales leadership with multimillion $ targets.
  • Act as an integral part of the APAC Management Team, contributing with innovative ideas, sharing success cases and practices and leading by example.
  • Proven track record as a sales leader with the ability to build, lead, motivate and manage both managers and sales reps.
  • Must be willing to travel in the region.
  • Ability to set stretching goals and manage deliverables and priorities.
  • Provide performance management oversight, to ensure our teams are inspected, targeted, measured and held accountable for deliverables.
  • Ability to lead on commercial negotiations, ensuring we profitably grow revenues and margins across all opportunities.
  • Bring proven relationships with customers, partners and key market players.
  • Inspiring & motivating others through well-executed communications and ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Building strong partner and customer relationships, to increase Barracuda’s mindshare and establish Barracuda as one of their key business partners.
  • Improve performance through a focus on people and organizational development, as well as talent attraction, succession planning and retention of RSA talent.
  • You will be a strategic thinker, able to translate this into executable plans for your team and deliver a vision for the region.
  • Strong Business Acumen and a clear track record of driving execution, delivering operational Excellence in the field.
  • You will possess a clear Sales Presence and be an inspirational sales and people leader with strong influencing and skills
