    Job Responsibilities

    Manage the Actuarial Reporting team to produce and communicate high quality regular financial reporting on IFRS 17 basis including monitoring and explaining the actual performance against business plan and other key financial measures as appropriate.

    Manage the production of the business plan, group risk appetite and other key business results and communicate results to senior management.

    Provide detailed analysis on the movements in key financials and communicate to senior management they key drivers in the results.

    Manage the processes and controls of the Actuarial Reporting team to ensure high quality results and analysis are produced as efficiently and effectively as possible.

    Work with both internal and external auditors to ensure processes and controls are high quality.

    Provide guidance, training and supervision to Actuarial Reporting team.

    Job Requirements

    Bachelor Degree in any disciplines.

    Fellow of Society of Actuaries, or other equivalent actuarial bodies.

    Minimum of 5 years working experience in the actuarial department.

    Good knowledge in actuarial concepts, insurance accounting, HKFRS / IFRS, tax and insurance regulatory requirements in HK.

    Good analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

    Good inter-personal and communication skills in both spoken and written English.

    Proactive, able to work under tight deadlines / pressure and perform multiple tasks when needed.

    Familiar with Prophet and with good programming knowledge.
