Department Description

The Digital Business Intelligence team works across multiple business channels to ensure we understand customer behaviour in order to deliver a superb digital customer experience.

The team is global in scope, covering an ever-increasing number of Fidelity’s digital properties, with customers in the B2C, B2B and B2B2C worlds.

Purpose of your role

Working with colleagues in the digital, product and technology teams, this enablement role provides critical support for the Global Business Intelligence team to deliver robust, tested and optimised implementations of Fidelity’s core digital measurement toolset.

The core toolset allows the digital team and associated business units to understand, report and act on customer insights from digital data, allowing us to obtain a comprehensive view of performance across our global digital experiences.

Currently, our core toolset is comprised of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Decibel Insight and Ensighten (tag management platform).

Specifically, this role will include global-scale JavaScript tag implementation, measurement platform administration and configuration, and data validation.

Key focuses for role include supporting the continued roll-out and incremental improvements of our global measurement toolset, helping define and roll-out a global app measurement framework, and supporting global marketing teams with tag delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing development of Fidelity’s global customer experience measurement and optimisation strategy
  • Helping to define a globally scalable app measurement solution
  • Acting as an interface between the business and development teams
  • Help maintain, update and improve documentation as a critical business resource
  • Ensure implementation QA testing is completed to support delivery across multiple business channels
  • Monitor data and tag quality, and improve data integrity
  • Use standards-based approach to support increased pace and scale of tracking deployments
  • Proactively review existing implementations and processes
  • Administration and configuration of Fidelity’s core measurement tools
  • Essential Skills / Experience

  • At least 2 years of industry experience
  • Strong time management skills to plan and work across global teams
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Experience of debugging client-side JavaScript using browser-based developer tools
  • Experience of analytics tools including :
  • Digital Analytics implementation experience (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar)
  • Tag Management experience (Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Adobe Launch, Ensighten, or similar)
  • Exposure to single-page-apps using React, Backbone, Angular or similar frameworks
  • A curious analytical / commercial mindset to understand our measurement optimisation strategy and help educate the business
  • Strong communication skills to work closely with teams across the globe
