foodpanda is building a new product offering in Hong Kong with a mission to be the leader of the category, in addition to our food delivery core business.
You will be leading the acquisition strategy and execution for identifying, acquiring and monitoring performance of vendors to our new business service.
Your mission :
Work with the Head of New Vertical to craft our commercial acquisition, launch and rollout strategy, creating a highly engaging and persuasive pitch for use by yourself and a small team of BDs
Conduct Market Research for potential lead identification and sourcing in line with the agreed vendor acquisition strategy
Grow the supply base for a brand new foodpanda product offering, focusing on vendors not currently using our delivery services (non-foodpanda restaurants, non-delivery restaurants, hotel restaurants, bars, clubs etc)
Hunt down new opportunities and close deals (cold calling will be required in some instances)
Educate new vendors about the benefits of our new product offering
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly / quarterly targets and initiatives
Interact closely with cross team members to handle commercial and operational support across foodpanda’s internal departments
Liaise with internal departments, collect and consolidate users’ requirements and coordinate with the service provider to fulfill company’s needs
Requirements
At least 3-5 years’ experience in an operational sales or account management role, possessing outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Experience & knowledge of foodtech booking, discovery and discount platforms highly desirable (OpenRice, Eatigo, Deliveroo, The Entertainer, Uber Eats, TripAdvisor etc)
Ability to analyse and draw inference from data
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions
Detail-oriented with proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time
Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Proficiency in both English and Cantonese, fluency in Mandarin would be a plus
Knowledge in the use of Salesforce preferred
