Job Description
The Senior Cost Estimator is to work as Owner’s Cost estimator to verify the detailed estimate for project CAPEX funding budget purpose, and under the management of the Owner’s Project Services Manager.
The key work will include, but not limited :
Work with conceptual designer, review, validation and to do cost estimate analysis for overall project Capex budget application
Review and verify the basis of cost estimate, identify the gaps between the basis and estimate deliverables including all the enquiry, MTO and factors.
Work with Conceptual designer and client's project manager to prepare the detailed + / -10% cost estimate for define stage and provide the basis of cost estimate
Assist Project Services manager to prepare Cost Management plan and cost control methodology for project execution.
Interface with Financial and the client's functional to prepare owner cost estimate and phasing details, cashflow forecast base on the owner's requirements
Other works to be assigned by Project Services Manager
Qualifications
At least 8 years relevant experience in Oil and Gas in Terminal / Depot environment in Brownfield projects
Degree in Engineering
Familiar with major project (Capex >
$200M) cost estimate preparation
Familiar with International engineering, procurement, construction cost estimator and cost control development and validation process
Good Communication ad presentation skills
Fluent in English.
Local language is preferred but not mandatory
