The Department

Our Property Department is committed to providing integrated, customer-centric, sustainable and cost effective asset management, development management, project management and facilities management services to the key Business Units in the Club.

You will :

  • Organize, train and supervise a team of assistant manager and engineers to ensure the property services at Happy Valley Racecourse are delivered effectively and cost efficiently
  • Formulate and maintain a maintenance plan to ensure operation of all buildings and building services system are operated safely and efficiently
  • Co-ordinate with operation team to plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs
  • Engage consultants and contractors and supervise their work to ensure services are rendered competently within budget and program
  • Act as in-house consultant to establish design criteria, direct the presentation of technical drawings, specification, tender documents and monitor work progress for minor alternations, additions and improvement works
  • Develop, maintain and enhance the use of a computerized maintenance management system to improve preventive and corrective work efficiency
  • Develop and maintain operation and maintenance manuals and business continuity plan to ensure industry best practices are implemented
  • Prepare and monitor annual property operation, maintenance and capital works replacement budge to ensure expense are maintained within budges
  • You should have :

  • a degree in building services or electrical / mechanical engineering or related disciplines
  • at least 10 years relevant and solid experience in facilities or property experience and be conversant with building, building services, mechanical and electrical engineering technology
  • relevant professional qualification, e.g. HKIE, CIBSE, IFMA, IMechE & IEE)
  • knowledge of best practice in facility management and its related Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
  • strong leadership and organizational skills in planning and scheduling, with excellent administration and customer services skills
  • high level of communication skills including writing and presentation
  • Terms of Employment

    The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate.

    Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
