John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Limited is the holding company of the publicly-listed conglomerate, Swire Pacific Ltd. Our Group Finance Department is now inviting candidates to apply for the following position :
Responsibilities :
Handle full set of accounts and month-end closing
Prepare information for monthly, budget, interim and annual reporting
Perform budgeting and forecasting and other routine reports for management review
Work on monthly updates of Group forecast model
Assist Financial Accountant in statutory audit and tax filing
Liaise with operating units for any queries or ad hoc analysis
Support consolidation and changes of accounting systems
Assist in other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related disciplines with at least 2 years of full set accounting experience
Holder of ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent qualifications. Student member will also be considered
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Word Processing applications
Knowledge of SUN Accounting System and consolidation systems such as HFM or Tagetik, will be desirable
Independent, responsible, and able to meet deadlines
Good communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
