Most importantly, you will hire the next generation of Palo IT engineers and leaders and act as an ambassador of our engineering excellence.
What you will be doing
You write reusable, testable, and efficient code
You will ensure high performance and responsiveness to technical requests
You are familiar with Agile / Scrum Methodologies and its practices
You will Provide end to end application development expertise to the engineering team and establish best practices on code quality and performance.
You will lead and mentor engineers to deliver high-quality codes and projects.
You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to build great applications.
You will build confidence in our project delivery through automated testing, continuous integration, monitoring, and analytics.
You will provide architecture-level and code-level feedback for the engineering team.
You will shepherd the technical decision-making process and provide technical roadmap and thought-leadership.
Technical Skills
You are a creative individual with deep technological expertise, business acumen, and software development background.
Strong hybrid mobile development background and experience with React Native (exp. w / Flutter, Ionic, etc are a plus)
Solid experience building complex custom UI and knowledge of mobile device operational framework.
Demonstrated focus on quality and ability to use automated testing methodologies
A strong advantage if you have hands-on experience in other developments such as web development and API backend development.
You like to work in all phases of a rapid product development lifecycle : You are familiar with Agile Methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, and interested in learning more about Design Thinking, Lean Start-up, TDD, BDD, or XP.

Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, prioritization and communication skills to help shape our technical direction and deliver a fast, secure and insanely usable app
You must be able to communicate well with both internal and external parties with a good sense of idealism and pragmatism.
You are endlessly curious, a self-starter and able to quickly grasp and understand a wide variety of software environments and solutions.
You have been involved in recruitment and have led / mentored an engineering team.
