The Specialist of Ethical Sourcing Asia,based in Shenzhen or Hong Kong, will join the Hasbro EthicalSourcing team to monitor and support vendor performance, processand determine approval of licensee factory audit reports in theAsia region and conduct oversight audits of vendor and licenseefactories in accordance with the Hasbro Global Business EthicsPrinciples.
The Specialist will serve as a critical teammember in Hasbro’s continuing journey to build a world-classEthical Sourcing program;
including rankings as number 5 on the2018 100 Best Corporate Citizens List and one of the World’s MostEthical Companies by the Ethisphere Institute for the 8thConsecutiveyear.
Focusing onvendor and licensee social compliance program in China, SoutheastAsia and India, he / she will report to the Manager of Asia EthicalSourcing (the Asia Manager ) and be responsible for implementingHasbro’s Ethical Sourcing program, including effective managementsystems, into strategic vendors and licensees with factories in theAsiaregion.
Monitorand support vendor factory performance; including review of vendorsocial compliance audit letters, engagement with vendors oncorrective action plans (CAPs) and support their remediationefforts, visit factories to review remediation progress and supportcapacity building;
and assess vendor management systems;identifying gaps that should beaddressed.
Respond to retailer and licensorrequests for social compliance audit reports and corrective actionplans, support factory remediation to satisfy partner requirementsand other related administrativerequests.
Process licensee audit reports andassess licensee performance in Asia; including the review andassessment of licensee audit reports in the Asia region;
reviewAsia license social compliance performance and escalatenon-compliant licensees and engage with the Hasbro Consumer Productteam to address issues.
Conduct oversightaudits of vendor and licensee factories and follow-up with therespective vendors and licensees on theresults.
Support special projects such asvendor training, capacity building and worker well-beinginitiatives.
Build relationships andcollaborate with key internal stakeholders, such as ProductCategory Leads, Planning and Quality Assurance, to ensure alignmentand continue to integrate ethical sourcing into businessengagement.
International Travel required(Mainland China, Southeast Asia,India).
Bachelor'sDegree in Business Administration, Public Policy or relateddiscipline or experience in a relevant field (i.e.
law, policy,human rights)
3 - 5 years of experience inethical sourcing, corporate compliance or governance; auditingexperience preferred.
Ability to meet tightdeadlines and crisis management and an aptitude forlearning.
Excellent interpersonal skills andability to collaborate internally andexternally.

Fluent in English, andCantonese or Mandarin.
