The incumbent will be responsible for developing and supporting innovative personal insurance propositions to address the needs of target segments by understanding consumer insights, market / competitive situation, and organizational strategy.
This position has to work closely with owners of Group Product and Health Services propositions within the Customer Propositions team to coordinate our product shelf with our wider proposition strategy.
The position will also support the Partnership team in developing innovative propositions to enable business development opportunities.
The Customer Propositions team works with marketing, distribution, clinical & network, and other frontline and back-end business functions as needed to design and launch propositions in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities :
Participate as appropriate in market research to understand consumer / patient needs and attitudes;
Develop pipeline of individual product opportunities and plan their implementation according to the Customer Proposition strategy;
Responsible for using existing and new propositions to acquire new customers and grow market share;
Opportunity for commercial innovation and driving growth by supporting partnership and business development opportunities;
Partner with internal teams (Marketing / Distribution / Legal / Finance / IT / Operations / etc.) and lead the implementation of new and revamp product initiatives;
Business ownership of personal insurance propositions (across products, segments, and channels) including topline and bottom line growth;
Liaise with management and multi-functional team on new / enhanced proposition development;
Develop innovative marketing campaigns for medical products; use differentiated health services to tailor product suite for different distribution channels;
Job Requirements :
Proven experience in product development or project management;
Strong knowledge of Medical / Health insurance and / or Hong Kong healthcare system, with experience in Employee Benefits, consulting, or insurance / TPA operations a plus;
Strong analytical abilities and creative energy;
Ability to be self-driven, show initiative and motivate others.
Good communications skills (spoken / written English and Chinese), detail-minded, a good team player and willing to learn;
Proficiency in PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & MS Chinese Word);
Candidates of good caliber but less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
