Senior Officer, IT Support

  • Creates, reviews, and maintains operational documentation ranging from Helpdesk manual to user guide for IT end-user support and IT operation
  • Provide IT support service to the local users and maintain VC connection in smooth condition.
  • Works with internal user and other AEGON IT teams from different countries to provide the tier 1 and tier 2 IT helpdesk service by carrying out inspection and corrective action.
  • Monitors ticket tracking system and utilizes recourse for support incidents
  • Identifies opportunities for automation, and assist with the development of automation systems to address those opportunities
  • Participation in research, planning, implementation, and ongoing support for operational projects
  • Preparing the IT end-user training materials for general IT software and video conferencing facilities
  • Assist PC installation, testing, monitoring and maintenance of software and hardware
  • Performs configuration and administration on IT related equipment
  • Conducts hardware / software or computer systems testing, evaluation and documentation preparation
  • Responsible for logging and administrative reporting
  • Enforces IT standards and educate end-users on latest IT policy and guideline
  • Responsible to IT Security in End-User Computing and Facilities
  • Job Requirement

  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline
  • Strong Customer Service & Troubleshooting skill sets
  • Strong background in Microsoft Office 365 & Microsoft desktop products (Teams. Power Automate, SharePoint) and their support skill
  • Experience working with multi-tiered ticket handling / resolution systems
  • Experience working on the virtual desktop environment
  • A strong sense of responsibility and Customer oriented
  • A sense of information security is an advantage
  • A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and taking ownership of job responsibilities
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese, with Mandarin is an advantage
