In this position you will...
Lead a small team to drive topline growth in Property business (Commercial and Business package for SME, CAR and standalone Property placements) through local / international brokers and agents and able to manage top renewals and new business program independently.
Familiar with Property portfolio mix and overall portability driver. Be a strong technical underwriting support for distribution team.
Achieve sustainable growth of all commercial business through broker(s) engagement, smart underwriting, balanced portfolio mix and improve cost and customer experience through operational efficiency.
You will be responsible for
Successfully maintain assigned portfolio of business (mainly property)
Taking a proactive role in driving for new business
Being the technical referral point to underwriter and distribution team, maintain profitability by achieving target loss ratio
Working with Regional CoE to ensure underwriting compliance
Responsible for forming strategic growth strategies around underwriting and product enhancements.

You will require the following qualifications and skills
At a minimum, bachelor’s degree from a leading university
A strong track record in Property underwriting in Hong Kong market
At least 15 years of experience in insurance with a direct insurance company
Any actuary and data analytic or experience in other lines of business is a plus
