Hex Trust is looking for an energetic Automation Tester to join the team!
What you will be doing
Identifying and selecting the automation test cases;
Applying various designs and documenting the automation test strategy;
Creating an automation test plan and getting approval;
Configuring Automation Test Environment (STE) in order to set it up;
Participating in Automation Setup with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE);
Automating the design of a framework;
Implementing it as per the structure of the project;
Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases;
Collating and monitoring the defect management process;
Managing the changes and executing regression tests;
Coming up with exact solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling;
Interacting with customers / clients to solve the various issues they face and updating on the situation;
Support and liaise different parties for different types of testing such as NFR testing, SIT, UAT, etc;
Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the product team;
Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer;
Defects triage during the functional testing.
Who you are
6+ years of Automation testing experience in Financial services;
All around banking business domains, experience in modules like KYC / AML, client onboarding, custodian and / or digital transformation would be an advantage ( Not MUST)
Strong interest in FinTech and Blockchain Technology;
Fluent English with great communication skills with stakeholders, and internal IT team;
Must be a good team player, proactive, self-motivated, and able to multitask;
Possess a start-up and Agile mentality and able to work in a fast-paced environment;
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science or related disciplines, equivalent combination of education and related experience;
Technical Skills :
Hands-on experience using manual, API and automated test tools such as Selenium Grid / WebDriver, Cucumber, Java, Junit, Rest Assured;
Hands-on experience with API Automation using Postman, Rest Assured, TestNG or any similar framework;
Experience writing testing scripts in languages such as Java, or JavaScript;
Experience in source code management tools such as Gitlab, AWS Code pipelines;
Working experience in Web application testing and API Automation testing;
Knowledge of writing and executing manual test cases and, also ability to find defects;
Understanding CI / CD : Continuous delivery / Continuous Integration approach;
Experience in data-intensive applications testing, Data validation / Data Migration Testing;
Intermediate to advanced SQL, Postgres database validation testing skills;
Familiar with JSON and XML format;
Ability to grasp requirement / spec without detail documented stories and then derive the quality of deliverable;
Strong interest in FinTech and Blockchain Technology;
Possess a start-up and Agile mentality and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
