About the Position
We are currently hiring a Fixed Income Sales Specialist for Jane Street’s Hong Kong office. In this role, you will partner with other members of the sales team to develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients around the Asia Pacific region focusing on providing liquidity in Fixed Income.
Help mapping and prioritizing addressable audience of institutional clients interested in Jane Street’s Fixed Income (FI) offering.
Develop together with other stakeholders - Jane Street’s FI strategy for the region.
Work with other members of the sales team on expanding client coverage when it comes to providing liquidity in Fixed Income (either electronically or through portfolio trading).
This includes either joining client meetings set up by colleagues or directly engaging clients and prospects.
Help build FI expertise within the sales team.
Represent company at conferences, seminars and industry events. This may include preparing and presenting content related to Jane Street’s FI offering.
Build understanding of other products traded by Jane Street (e.g. ETFs) and be able to cross-sell with institutional clients.
Collaborate efficiently with business partners from within the broader FI ecosystem such as FI ETF issuers, platform operators etc.
Maintain a thorough understanding of Jane Street’s trading expertise and our execution service’s features and benefits.
Work closely with marketing team on branding ideas and client appreciation events.
Fixed Income sales or sales trading experience (5+ years) either at a bank / broker or trading platform.
Strong understanding of Fixed Income markets and client landscape across Asia Pacific.
Good understanding of Fixed Income market structure in Asia and globally.
Organized and professional with a strong attention to detail.
Fluency in Japanese, Mandarin, or Korean a plus.
