Major Duties :
a) To perform administrative duties in respect of one or more of the following areas :
i) Human resources management;
ii) Student and course related administration;
iii) Administrative academic support (e.g. student admissions, student records activities and matters relating to course planning, accreditation exercise and operation);
iv) Financial and supplies matters; and
v) General administration and facilities management;
b) To supervise and coordinate the work of clerical and supporting staff to ensure effective operation and management of the operational unit;
c) To undertake committee work in various committees, boards and meetings;
d) To assist in coordinating projects and events, and the publicity matters of the operational unit; and
e) To help implement the quality policy of the operational unit.
a) A recognised degree or equivalent;
b) At least 2 years’ relevant work experience at the executive level, preferably in educational institutions or major organisations;
c) Good communication, interpersonal, organisation and administrative skills;
d) Good problem solving, time management and team building skills;
e) Self-initiative, willingness to meet challenges and the ability to work independently; and
f) A high level of written and spoken language proficiency in both Chinese and English, preferably including Putonghua.
1) Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment in both English and Chinese.
2) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal working hours and / or outside campus.
