We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Co-Head - Product Specialists, Global Manager Selection.
Principal Responsibilities
Work with a globally diverse colleagues in the Global Manager Selection (GMS) team,.
Lead team of Product Specialists in Hong Kong & Bangalore, and collaborate with GPB&W markets to develop funds & ETFs product shelf and services.
Collaborate with internal and third party Asset Managers, as well as colleagues in distribution, compliance, risk and other functional stakeholders
Act as subject matter expert for Funds and ETFs and provide support for the technical, strategic and operational aspects of developing the product line
First point of contact for GPB&W markets, coordinating fund and ETF selection to meet their business needs, supporting product innovation as well as enhancements and rationalization of existing products and solutions.
Support Wealth markets’ funds and ETF related efforts, including but not limited to helping markets achieve key financial and non-financial metrics, adherence to product governance (new product or initiative approval), product and shelf review, implementation of product strategy and any other ad hoc request.
Requirements
Highly effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Experience in management consulting, wealth management, asset management or banking industry
Strong knowledge of the Mutual funds and ETFs Industry
Exposure to product development, fund advisory, or portfolio management
Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead change to deliver strategic initiatives with multiple deadlines / shifting priorities
An entrepreneurial, start-up approach and willingness to take end-to-end ownership are key, as is the ability to collaborate and communicate with the team members and key stakeholders across the group
Able to influence, engage and lead in a positive, inspiring manner with strong organizational and time management skills, people management experience
Proactive, attention to details and ability to multi-task especially under pressure to meet time sensitive deadlines
Highly numerate and financially literate, experience working with financial software such as Bloomberg, Morningstar
Good knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint
Fluent in English (Mandarin / Cantonese language skills will be a plus, but not essential)
