Applications are invited for appointment as Professor / Associate Professor in Language Diversity and Documentation / Language Neuroscience in the School of Humanities (Linguistics) (Ref.
502386), to commence on August 1, 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter, on tenure terms.

The appointee is expected to develop a vigorous, independent research programme to excel in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and to take on administrative duties.
He / She should demonstrate leadership and mentorship qualities with a clear vision of the department leadership role, and a willingness to collaborate across academic units to enhance and promote interdisciplinary research.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary.
