Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses.
In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organisations for a variety of functions.
You will :
To assist the Restaurant Manager to oversee the restaurant’s day-to-day operations of the premium Chinese Cuisine Oi Suen including staff rostering, training, daily administration and budget control
To assist the Restaurant Manager in preparing annual budget for property work, operational equipment and manpower
To manage and develop the restaurant's business by leading a team to provide the highest standard of personalized service to our Members including making recommendations on food and wine, responding to Members' requests, comments and suggestions
To monitor and enhance food and beverage services and facilities, and the optimum staffing level to achieve high satisfaction for the Members and their guests
To supervise that the required mise-en-place is done properly and ensure that the tablewares and consumable items are in high sanitation and adequate for smooth operations
To train and coach for all team members to achieve continuous improvement and help new colleagues aligning with the Club’s culture
To assist the Restaurant Manager for delivering the operational readiness of the restaurant for the New Clubhouse opening and perform any other related duties as and when assigned by supervisor.
You should have :
At least 5 years’ relevant experience in same capacity of a sizeable luxury hotel, members’ club or a highly recognized Chinese Cuisine of catering group with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar capacity;
possesses with restaurant pre-opening experience is definitely an advantage
A proven record in operating a sizeable and luxury Chinese Cuisine with high quality service; comprehensive knowledge of market trends and well-manage the activities and events for the members and their guests with care and safety
Good leadership skills with strong initiatives to interact with customers
Well versed in computer applications
Good communication skills in both English and Chinese.

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
