Your field of responsibility

As a part of role, your responsibility includes :

  • Reliability and resilience of the regional operating platforms
  • Maintain and advance effectiveness of corporate governance and regulatory compliance
  • Establish and advance the effectiveness of operational oversight (key controls, policies, guidelines)
  • Oversee and monitor all material regional resource allocations (, capital expenditures and budgets)
  • Support the implementation of the regional strategy (in particular the localization of products in Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan)
  • Principal interface to the regional corporate functions supporting the business to ensure the effective and cost-efficient delivery of support services
  • Ensure legal, regulatory, reputational, credit and operational risks are identified, mitigated and escalated by working closely with the Legal, Compliance and Risk functions
  • Promote an ethical and compliant conduct culture
  • Maintain current knowledge of regulatory updates and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures
  • Retain a thorough, real-time awareness and oversight of the business to understand and influence; operational matters; sufficiency of resourcing;
  • risks; and improvements

  • Oversee timely provision of relevant information and key metrics regarding the business. Ensure adequate record keeping for decision making and supervisory duties.

    Your skills and experience

    To excel in this role, you should possess below :

    At least 10 years as a practitioner in the institutional asset management industry (, Operations, Technology, Business Management) is essential

    Outstanding understanding of the regulatory landscape, investment product structures, emerging operating models and technology solutions and key topics in Asset Management across the region

    Proven track record in building and advancing teams as well as mobilizing talent

    Ability to understand and work effectively in a complex governance and partners structure

    Strong analytical / problem solving abilities with respect to operational risks and change management

    Excellent presentation and communication skills

    Proven ability to manage ambiguity, high workloads and changing demands

    University degree or equivalent education (CFA and FRM are a plus)

    Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking who can work on own initiative and can deliver on time under pressure with a high level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
